Vacation Lessons - Part 1

Provide value. It is okay to charge higher prices, if it is justified. For example: Combine entertainment, education, action, and humor - instead of just one.

If you are charging high prices make it clear why. Either through print, voice, video, or ambience. We stopped at Railway Museum. Tickets were $17 per adult, and may have been worth it. I don't know. There was no way for me to know what I would get for the cost. There was a train ride, but I don't know how long it was, and no-one stopped us from turning around when we saw how much they were.

It's important to pay attention to everyone, even the shy ones. Remember, it is not your customers job to ask questions. It is nice when they do, and you should be able to answer their questions. Instead of being frustrated by a 'stupid' question, be relieved that your customer has given you the opportunity to help them.
